‎2014·03·07‏

(English below)

Invitation to a Costume Party in Jerusalem for Home-educated Children, Take III

Hi,

(Following the fun we had the last two years, we'll organize another one this year as well! ☺)

A major part of charm of costume festivals for children lies not only in dressing up and wearing a costume — being someone else for a day — but also in the atmosphere and the special interaction with other children which revolves around dressing up. Children in kindergartens and schools usually experience this there; many home-educated children lack a parallel, so we've decided to make one by ourselves:

On Wednesday, March 12th, there will take place at the Kid Space of the First Station, from 10:30,
A COSTUME PARTY FOR HOME-EDUCATED CHILDREN (and anyone else who wants…)
Everyone is invited, home-educated and non-home-educated children alike: people of any origin, (non-)religion and age. In the party we will get acquainted, play and make thematic craft together, and there will be a fun activity.

Please come to the Kid Space dressed-up (adults included, even if nominally only).
Many children, especially younger ones, don't like wearing costumes; everyone is heartily welcome, with a costume or without it.

Home-made refreshments will be served (feel free to bring some as well; in order for everyone to enjoy, please keep the food kosher and without any animal products).

We'll appreciate it if you forward this message and invite anyone you think might want to join.

It'll be great if you bring empty toilet paper rolls and small bells for the craft and small plastic toy animals (which you'll get back afterwards) for the activity.

Hoping to see you soon :-)
